As an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Architect, the beneficiary will perform the below job duties. This role plays a crucial part in the design and management of ERP systems for the client.
The ERP Architect is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the client’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role focuses on ensuring that the ERP system aligns with business objectives, is scalable, and supports efficient business processes. The ERP Architect works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and improve data management.
Responsibilities:
- ERP System Design:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and architect the ERP system, considering the organization’s needs, processes, and future growth.
- Establish and further develop an integration strategy with a strong focus on business process integrations.
- Discover, evaluate, and analyze integration requirements together with stakeholders such as business departments, architects, developers, and product owners.
- Define target integration designs and mainly guide others to perform such tasks.
- Utilize existing integration technologies or platforms, like SAP Integration Suite as well as parts of our Cloud Platform Architecture (AWS-heavy) to realize integration demands.
- Work in a hybrid environment (Cloud and OnPrem) where various products and technologies are involved. – 50% OF THE WORK.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership in ERP system design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Oversee the work of developers and other team members involved in ERP projects
- Identifies issues between the architecture and vendor solution implementation. Identifies solutions and formulate implementation and migration strategies.
- Understand latest technology, solutions, and industry trends and conceptualize functional solutions that address business needs, opportunities and issues
- Influence architectural strategy as technology evolves, with an emphasis on deterministic, re-usable and scalable solutions.
- Understand solution to a level that enables the development of the rationale for the associated TCO of the proposed solution. – 10% OF THE WORK.
- ERP System Customization: Develop and implement customizations and configurations to meet specific business requirements while maintaining best practices. – 10% OF THE WORK.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the ERP system’s performance, addressing bottlenecks and improving response times. – 10% OF THE WORK.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. – 5% OF THE WORK.
- Documentation:
- Ensure operational excellence for integrations and processes by supporting the implementation of a consistent end-to-end monitoring.
- Define a documentation framework for integration flows and architectural plans and ensure the implementation of the same.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, and customizations. – 5% OF THE WORK.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal IT teams to ensure proper utilization of the ERP system.
- Provides expertise in technical knowledge, methodology and framework, data integration and data flows, Enterprise Architecture, and software development and coding.
- Communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small technical audiences. – 10% OF THE WORK.
